New Year, halfway through the month

OK so I am not one for keeping up on things well. Understatement of the year. The kids and I are still in Vale, Gary is living in a little trailer, he got a good deal on, in John Day, and we now have renters in the Prairie City house. We are keeping very busy.
Friday night the young couple that was moving into our place had lots of strong friends to help move my piano. Gary said that with all those guys lifting, the thing didn't hardly feel heavy.

Sept. 19, 2008

Wow! This has been a busy month. Chad has loved being up in Prairie City with Dad and going to work with him daily. But it was starting to wear on both of them. Thank goodness the first day of head start is 9/23. Mom drove up to P.C. Thursday night, alone, the older kids stayed behind in Vale with friends. It seemed really odd to be so alone. Chad and Mom will be driving back on Sat. night. Dad will be facing the world alone after Saturday so keep him in your prayers.
Mom's job is as fun and stimulating as ever, I get such a kick out of the Jr. High kids.
We have had a bit of illness that we could do without, but all seem to be recovering and on the ment. Roni had strep throat and then Alex got it. When Alex didn't seem to be getting better I took her back in and after a little blood work they discovered that she had mono. NOT the diagnosis mom wanted to hear. She has taken this last week off school and been taking it easy, but she is doing better and is going to try going back to school on Monday. Keep all of us in your prayers.
Happy Birthday Grandpa Bill!
Congrats to Julie and Jill.
Love to all of you keep in touch

School is in swing!

School began on the 20th of August. It has been nice and busy since then. We get to have Garys "lil sis" Katie's kids over after school for a couple of hours till thier mom gets done at the bank. They are a lot of fun. Chad went back to Prairie city with Gary for 2 week. Since his Head Start's first day of "school" is the 23 of Sept. we decided it was better if he go with Gary for 2 weeks rather than juggling around here. Naturally I miss him a ton, but truth be told life is easier with out a toddler. I will be gald to get him back!
The big kids are having fun in school, I get reports that teachers are "awesome, cool, and fun", John has started the baratone he is excited.
I am loving my job, and learning lots. Love you all.

Setteling In

Oh the Joys of a new life!
Gary is working hard to put his 2 homes in order. NOT a small task! He is working hard trying to get his agency to grow. He has come "home" to Vale to see me and the kids every weekend this month, and we work him so hard with home repairs that I think he must be glad to get back to Prairie City and enjoy a little peace and quiet. This weekend he made it so we can use the shower, so we are no longer bumming from family members. Yea Dad!

I got a part time job working for the Vale school district as an LRC aid (helping a special needs kid). It's part time and the same schedule as the kids, so wheew. The kids are excited for school to start. As is Mom now.

We are still working to get settled into the house and get things put away, all who really know me realize the humor in that. Heaven help me! The kids seem to settling down a bit, they have been loving their time with cousins. And mom has enjoyed the breaks.

Well I think I will close for now, since my net time at the library is limited.
Take care and love you all, Colie

I Love Moving (not!)

OK well time for another update!
Today is Friday the 1st of August! TGIF and that July is finally over. What a nutso and nightmarish month. Today is payday and so moving day. We are going to be in the office till closing time then take off for Vale. Thanks to Gary's dad the trailer full of heavy stuff is already down there and all we have to haul is the food and light stuff. It has been a real adventure trying to sort the house into 2. What is Daddy going to need to keep and what are the rest of us going to need? Who gets which CDs, DVDs, Books ect... We still haven't sorting the kitchen, naturally Gary thinks I should just take all cooking stuff with me and he will load up for the next week when is in Vale and make it through the week on leftovers, what a nut.
Alexis is happy to announce that there are only 7 days left till her 10th B-day! (how did I get old enough to have an 11, 10, and 8 year old?) I thought I was still in my 20's ;).
We had to close the office yesterday so that we could stay home and fix a broken pipe in the bathroom. It would be nice if Murphy's law was not so far reaching.
Have a great day! love you all,
Gary, Colie, John, Alexis, Verronica, and Chad

Hello Dear Family and Friends!
We here in the GNR (that's "Gary Nicole Rindlisbacher" not guns and roses) world are ever moving. We have come to the decision that it is in the best interest of the family that Nicole and the kids move back to the Vale house for the 2008/2009 school year. We are not sure about all the details yet, but we will keep the posts coming.
Gary's business is growing, slowly, and the kids are growing, quickly. Nicole is the same as always.
The kids are enjoying the local library's summer reading program. Chad is too cute, he is very eager to tell one and all that he got a book from the library. The older kids seem to have developed mom and dads passion for books and are able to "devour" anything written at their level in a matter of a few hours/days. It makes the decision to get rid of cable seem like a good idea. Naturally mom has some nights of serious withdrawal ;).

We are all missing the family and friends that we haven't seen in a while and are hopin to hear from you soon.

Fourth of July weekend

What a cool and wild weekend (HAHAHAHAH).

Well it was fun, we went to Vale and saw most of the Rindllisbacher family. We enjoyed the family we saw and missed those who were not there. Lots of late nights, took their toll on all of us. We were glad to get home. Everyone at church said they were glad to see John back.

Friday night we went to watch the "fireworkses" (Chad's word) in Ontario OR it was normal.

Time to entertain the kids.
Have a good week, love you all,
Gary, Colie, and Kids.
